in·formed fol´low·ers n. pl.
Christ-followers who are neither arrogant nor ashamed; who do not follow tradition for its own sake but who understand its history and relevance; Christians who humbly pursue education to better the collective Church; and believers who will defend their religion with knowledge-based confidence while actively participating in a skeptical society.

This is a series of booklets dealing with religious topics from polygamy to the creation account in Genesis. The concept came out of the belief that many Christians desire a better understanding but have neither the time nor money to spend reading exhaustive volumes. The postmodern believer now prefers a quick connection to information. This information needs to be legitimate, relevant, and free of useless frills; precisely what one finds with “Informed Followers.”
Each booklet is meant to aid an individual or small group in their understanding of the issue. Consisting of fewer than 50 pages, the booklets allow for a concise, to-the-point summation of the significant elements. The goal is that the reader only encounters the information that they desired. Each title includes a list of recommended resources for further investigation of that topic.

The Days of Creation purchase
From the Conclusion – “…the interpretation of Genesis 1 has been a point of disagreement for centuries. Many individuals in the Church and outside of it have entered the debate. It has been a multifaceted debate; concerning genre, exegesis, hermeneutics, geology, evolution, and faith… It is a dilemma which has had numerous proposed solutions… Thus far, there is no RIGHT answer, but for most there is a BEST answer.”
Jesus & Islam purchase
From the Introduction – “The role of Jesus Christ in the tradition of Islam is one which has been misunderstood, under-emphasized, over-emphasized, and repeatedly addressed. To truly understand the Muslim Jesus, one must look at the various writings and teachings that concern the historic figure. Certainly, as some have suggested, the person of Christ as viewed by Muslims is similar to the man revered by Christians. Yet, the similarities can be misleading. No less real are the major differences between the Muslim Jesus and the Christian Jesus. The similarities and the contrasts can both be found in the study of Christ’s life, ministry, and significance for each religious tradition.”
Polygamy: A Christian Primer purchase
From the Introduction – “…the African continent has always included specific people groups who practice polygamy. There were many among the ancient Jews as well as the earliest Muslims who practiced polygamy to various degrees. More importantly, there are many African tribes and cultures who continue to be polygamous… How are Christians to view this marital practice? Is there anything within this form of marriage which is clearly contrary to Biblical teachings? With the topic of polygamy appearing in the recent U.S. news, Christians need to decide where they stand on the issue. If we claim that our own scriptures must be dealt with in light of their original context, can we claim otherwise when considering the beliefs and practices of others?”
